In this post, I am not going to share about the lost bright colored fish in the Pixar movie that we all loved. I just want to share something I have not yet found. Well I'm not even sure if it's something I should still look for in this time and uh, age.

It has almost been a month since my Ditsi got married and it still feels strange not to have her around here at home. I guess it hasn't completely sunk in yet that she's now a wife living in a far away city. Although we still get to talk often over the phone, things are just different now. But it is of course good that she's now embarking a new chapter in her life. And thank God that she's not alone for she's found the one she'll spend the rest of her life with in the person of the newest member of our family, Ahia Alwin.
Praise God for a fun and memorable bridal shower for my sister Anabel a.k.a Chiche last January 16, 2016 at Wanam Sa Bukid. God has indeed provided us with WONDERful people who made all our ideas come to life. It was really nice that when all the details were put together, it definitely went beyond my expectations. All the effort and contribution of our family and friends really paid off. I'm sure it was one bridal shower that Chiche will always remember - and that's exactly the goal! =)
Before anything else, allow me to wish you a Blessed and Fruitful New Year! Oh how the year 2015 swiftly passed by. I can only thank God for His faithful guidance throughout the most challenging year by far in my existence. Yes, challenging in all aspects but grace-filled in every way. Whatever lessons I have learned from 2015, they surely have prepared me for the battle ahead in 2016. Praise the Lord for this new beginning. He has given me another chance to make things right.
Finally, I was able to once again do some stitching and pounding after a long long time! Glad to have found Studio 925 by Soul Flower.Co where I learned so much with fellow crafters. I always find it liberating to do something out of the ordinary and discover what my hands can do aside from office work. This time, I was even able to tag along one of the Chikkas - Marice! =)
Praise God for the beautiful sunny weather today! It was definitely a perfect day to have a photoshoot for the soon-to-be-married - Ahia Alwin and my sister Chiche. This is actually my second time to assist/style a prenup shoot and I couldn’t be happier for the privilege of being the BTS girl. Well ironically, most of the photos you’ll see here are somewhat a collection of my selfies hahaha! You’ll understand why when you see where our wandering feet have taken us.
It’s been a while since I last visited this blog. I almost forgot I have one until I realized I need an outlet to express my sentiments about my heart condition. I always blame my heart whenever I’m struggling over something because I know it always boils down to the issue of the heart. Oh this poor little heart of mine, what is wrong with you?
One of the strangest thing I did in my 27 years of existence is to buy myself a happy birthday banner, haha! I know it seems downright silly to do such thing but it happened. To be honest, it really wasn't my intention to make a big deal out of my birthday because every year, it has always been just a normal day for me - except that birthday messages are coming one after another. Can't find any reason to celebrate the inescapable reality of getting older. (Wow, and just by typing those words reveals how bitter my heart is.) It's a shame to admit this but yes, I threw myself a party - and it was awkwardly surprising, in a good way of course!
I'm back to the grind but here I am squeezing in some time to post about my wonderful experience at the Durian Capital of the Philippines (while everything is still fresh in my mind). It was the most amazing long weekend with the Chikkas last August 29-31. I'm just so grateful to have some time off from work with friends who share the same appetite for adventure. We've been planning about this trip for months and finally, we've reached the south! Until now I still can't believe that I've set foot on Mindanao ground. But of course, only on the safest part of the region which is Davao City. Mind you, it's actually one of the safest cities in the WORLD. #fact
Someone turned 60 this month! Yes, he's no other than the man who is dearest to my heart, my Papa! This year, we celebrated his lunar birthday with our growing family last August 9 at a buffet restaurant. It was a very simple celebration but definitely a memorable one. If only I had all the time and resources to make him feel loved and appreciated on this special day, I would've done so. But knowing Papa, he's really not the type who'd want to get special attention. Extravagance is just not his thing that's why I call him "kuripot" all the time, haha! As a matter of fact, he just wanted to stay and rest at home on his birthday. He even refused to celebrate when we told him about the birthday lunch. (Yup, you can call him KJ too, hehe!) But his wish wasn't granted because his daughters had a different plan. Here are some photos taken from my camera phone and Aichin's cam:

Welcome!
Nothing really fancy here, the lack of eloquence is very evident. Just sharing my thoughts - straight from the heart. Archives
