If there's one place I wish I could go back to right now, it would definitely be Kampong Glam in Bugis for so many reasons. When I did my research about this beautiful town before our trip to Singapore, I knew I would need to allot a special time to really enjoy what this place has to offer. And good thing we did, though I still wish we've stayed longer. God willing, I'd love to revisit this in the near future. =) Kampong Glam is known for having the biggest Muslim community in Singapore; thus, the eye-catching mosque. I read somewhere that tourists are allowed to enter regardless of race or religion but we didn't bother to check what's inside. Just felt it was unnecessary and at the same time uncomfortable. So yes, we skipped that part and headed straight to our main agenda - Haji Lane. We had a very enjoyable walk to our destination. The streets here were just as vibrant as Chinatown and Little India. But this one has a cooler vibe, I must say, especially when we finally reached Haji Lane. For someone who likes artsy stuff like me, this is the best place to visit. There are quite a number cafes around with some quaint shops in between which made me feel all giddy and hyped up. Time for some retail therapy! After an hour of walking down the street in slow motion (a la Samantha Brown hihi), we finally found the cafe which was highly recommended by a certain travel blog I came across online few weeks back. And it surely did not disappoint! Call me shallow but this was seriously the highlight of my Kampong Glam experience. Now it's time to present the most wonderful place on earth (in my own perspecticve)... Shop Wonderland! Since Apong wanted to try iFly at Sentosa, we had to leave earlier than planned so she can avail the last schedule of flying at 7pm.

Welcome!
Nothing really fancy here, the lack of eloquence is very evident. Just sharing my thoughts - straight from the heart. Archives
