Here is the second installment of our SG trip! Yes, we're now on our Day 3 and I couldn't wait to post all the photos here on the blog. I intentionally made an exclusive entry for this one because I feel that there's so much to tell about the places we've visited on our 3rd day. Plus, the fact that we were able to visit 3 interesting neighborhoods in one day (without completely getting lost) was pure awesomeness! The best part of our Day 3 itinerary was we were able to go places just by using one mode of transportation which was no other than the super duper convenient MRT. It actually felt like station-hopping to me. I couldn't even remember how many times we've alighted from the train. (10 times? Maybe even more than 10) Day 3 - Chinatown, Little India, Kampong Glam, Sentosa Chinatown - It was raining when we arrived but it didn't stop us from enjoying what this neighborhood has to offer - great food and cheap finds. Little India - As soon as we stepped into this neighborhood, we instantly felt the Indian vibe because of the Indi-pop music playing everywhere. It was more like entering one of the scenes in the bollywood movie P.K. And because I love that movie, I thought it would be nice to experience their culture and have a taste of their cuisine. What an unforgettable experience! THE VERDICT I've always thought that I'm a big curry fan (not steph ok?) but after tasting the authentic chicken curry, my taste palate was just not pleased. The moment it landed on our table, the strong aroma of the spices made me feel a bit sick right away. It was too overwhelming for someone who doesn't normally eat spicy dishes like me. Their Biriyani was good though after 5 spoonfuls of it, I knew I'm done. Apong on the other hand...she ate everything as if she was just having Adobo. Well obviously, I'm not a foodie. I know I mentioned above that we visited 3 neighborhoods in one day but I'd have to end this one with Little India. Day 3 to be continued in my next post. =)

Welcome!
Nothing really fancy here, the lack of eloquence is very evident. Just sharing my thoughts - straight from the heart. Archives
